The Engineering Science major provides a direct pathway to the Master of Professional Engineering.

Postgraduate courses

At the postgraduate level, we offer coursework and research opportunities, including a Master of Engineering Science or a PhD degree by research.

Research degrees involve two to four years full-time research under the guidance of a supervisor in the School. They provide a unique opportunity to focus on an area of research for several years and make an important contribution to the development of your chosen research area.

Most of the research projects are strongly linked with industrial needs and funded in large part by industry as well as various departments of the state and federal governments.

Consult our Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) about postgraduate enrolments.
